AI Agents, Automations and Scheduled Tasks

What we cover

Learn the difference between an AI conversation, a reusable workflow, an automation and an agent. Participants will map a repeated process using triggers, inputs, actions, review gates, fallbacks and logs. The workshop emphasizes starting with low-risk, reversible tasks before allowing AI to take more consequential actions. Example workflows include weekly content planning, research summaries, meeting follow-ups, reminder systems, lead organization, customer-question routing, recurring reports and internal task preparation.

Tools that may be demonstrated

We recommend a paid AI plan such as ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro for the smoothest experience — but a free plan on most large language models is sufficient to complete this workshop.

Preparation checklist

• One repeated task you perform daily or weekly
• Access to the tools that task already touches
• An account with an AI assistant (ChatGPT or Claude). Paid plans are recommended; free plans work fine.
